As a photographer, I try to make images that are timeless but not dated, sweet but not cheesy, and stylish but not trendy. As a wedding photographer, I focus on doing that without extra fuss or fanfare. My goal for you is to feel your most comfortable, natural, at ease selves while I find the perfect light and angle to capture the moment. This is a pretty important day in your life: you look pretty good, your partner looks damn good and you're surrounded by the best people in your life. The photos will reflect that.
I've been shooting photographs professionally for almost a decade, and weddings since 2011. That's just enough time for me to know that it's the best thing I can be doing with a camera, and I'm super thankful every time I get to shoot.

I previously worked for the BBC on Top Gear (for those in the know, this was before it became Top Gear America.) I also spent time as a photo editor for Rodale, Inc on Men's Health and Bicycling magazines.
I love vintage cameras, particularly film rangefinders. If you even barely hint that you want me to shoot one, I will. Beyond photography, I spend as much time as possible in the ocean and enjoy all forms of waveriding. If I'm not doing either of those things, I am traveling with my wife Jenn... but we're probably taking photos... on the way to the ocean.
